Something Old and Something New

Before you rent a vehicle, there are a few thing that might help. Today, you can rent a vehicle from the comfort of your home and a computer. Decide how many people will be with you, and what type of car or van etc. you may need. Do you have a lot of luggage? Would an older car be okay or do you want to try out a new and spiffy luxury model? Obviously, the rates won't be the same. If you will be arriving at your destination on a Saturday evening, a good tip is to book an economy or midsized car (if that will work okay) and if the car rental company is out of those, they will usually upgrade you for no charge to a larger vehicle. Check out the car before you take off, as you will be responsible for any dents. Make sure they are noted on the rental agreement. Fill up with gas before you return the car, because if you arrive back with less gas than you started with, the car rental company will charge you quite a bit per gallon.
