Lions and Crocs and Zebras, Oh My!
If you plan on visiting Africa, then it may be very hard to decide which countries you want to visit. The continent is vast and the sights and sounds in numerous countries are almost infinite. A photo safari is Kenya is a must. Most include several night's lodging in luxurious bush camps where you get to sleep in a real bed. You can still hear lions roaring at night, though! What about swinging by Mt. Kilimanjaro, or taking a Nile cruise and watching the sun set over the Great Pyramids? If you are on a ship, by the way, passing through the Suez Canal is quite an eerie experience. Life as it has gone on for thousands of years, appears in tableaus on the banks of the narrower-than-you-thought canal. The light show in the evening, along with music at the site of the Great Pyramid, is something to behold. Of course, there's the vast country of South Africa with its stunning coastline and crashing surf. Don't forget gorgeous Victoria Falls and herds of wildebeest and zebras as they migrate. There's a national park set in the vast crater of an extinct volcano.
