Pound, Peso or Dollar?

While most of Europe uses the Euro for currency, some countries there and every other country in the world, doesn't. England still chooses the currency of the pound. A lot of Latin countries use the peso. Many countries in the world like the U.S., Canada, Australia and a few others, use the dollar. A lot of countries, especially if they see an influx of tourists, may accept another country's currency. Dollars are like this. There are a lot of currency exchange sites at airports and in cities around various countries. It's good to exchange most of your "spending money" because this enables you to bargain with local vendors, and puts a little more money in their pockets, too. Of course, most people charge a lot on credit cards and in virtually every country you can use the commonest ones. Currency exchanges charge a percentage and this can vary, so make sure that you know what it is beforehand. There's a lot of programs for your smart phone or computer that can give you instant access to exchange rates, so take advantage of that.
