Don't forget to put your medications or toiletries, if they are liquid or gels, into three ounce containers and in one, one-quart bag. These is U.S. regulations so if you haven't flown before, check with your local authorities It's good to take natural fiber clothing with you. This is comfortable to wear as you travel around different countries. Take basic layers also, such as socks, undergarments, shirts or blouses, pants or skirts, footwear and hats. If the place you are staying at has a washing machine and dryer, so much the better. If you are chemically sensitive, then take three ounces of your own detergent with you. You do not want to break out in spots if you wash your clothes. Take a change of clothing with you in a carryon. If your luggage is delayed, then you will be okay at least until you can go out and buy some clothes.
