Get Some Culture!
It would be very hard to not find something artistic happening in every single part of the world. The arts and by association, the entertainment activities around the globe, are tremendously appealing because they often incorporate local ethnic art and entertainment. From festivals to handicrafts, art galleries to sculpture, plays to artifacts, museums to musicals, bands to symphony performances, tours to in-country treks, there is a ton of things to do and see (or not do if you want to just relax) in every country and region. Movies in a foreign language are always fun. What about an ethnic dance performance or show? They have puppet theatres in Indonesia and Kabuki dance in Japan. Parks and zoos are also entertaining and every single one is different. Often, each country will display their regional flora and fauna. Art galleries can be formal, or merely street vendors showcasing their art. Funky little stores in a lot of countries are often entertaining, if you like to shop for antiques or unusual items. You can always get a purchase sent to your home if it's too big to take on the plane or ship!
